DMX Gets Dragged on Twitter After Asking for Trap Beats

What was he thinking?

DMX has always been known as one of the more hardcore gangster rappers of the 90s, so what happens when he tries to venture off into a different type of rap? Should he be able to do whatever he wants on his records, or should he be sticking to what makes him a great rapper? One thing is for sure, his Twitter fans don’t like it, and boy did they voice their opinions.

What was he thinking?

Oldschool

DMX is a 46-year-old rapper from Yonkers, New York, and he’s been in the rap game for quite some time now. You probably know him for songs like “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” or “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem”, but you probably don’t know him from any songs with a trap beat, right?

What was he thinking?

Against the Grain

DMX is known for having his super brutal lyrics and his harsh realistic attitude. So you can imagine the outcry that happened when the rapper asked for some trap beats on his Twitter account…

What was he thinking?

The Tweet

The tweet has been deleted since the time that he made it, but it read “Looking for trap beats. Email iamelbarrio@gmail.com.”
He’s looking for business, but we’re not sure he’s going to find any, and if he does, the fans aren’t going to take it lightly. Check out how they responded on Twitter!

What was he thinking?

Ouch

To say the least, fans were not excited about DMX’s venture into the trap beat world. People even said things like “Don’t put your career on life support” and “Wtf are you doing.” It’s obvious how they feel about the situation.

What was he thinking?

Leave him be!

However, some fans did come to his defense saying that he should be able to do whatever he wants and rap over whatever he wants, which is true. However, it would still sound weird to hear DMX over a trap beat.

What was he thinking?

What do you think?

What do you think? Should DMX avoid trap beats, or do whatever he wants?
Check out what HipHopEarly said about the situation.

Akiwa kijana mdogo, Ma alihangaika kuingia chuo kikuu.

Jifunze zaidi katika umri mdogo kuliko kufikiria kulipwa pesa nyingi tu, work to learn and money will follow you. Tembea na ndoto zako popote uendako na uzifanyie kazi kila siku bila kuchoka wala kukata tama mpaka pale ushindi wako utakapotengeneza historia kama Jack Ma na Alibaba.

Young Thug Dodges Felony Drug and Gun Charges

That was a close one, Young Thug

After the local law enforcement barged into Young Thugs home unexpectedly in 2015 (because there’s no doubt that the cops were after him), it looked like he would be spending a few years behind bars. Although he was arrested the night of the bust and was guilty of having illegal items in his house, he won’t be charged with any of it. All because the police made a big mistake before they even set foot inside his crib. This is why it’s good to know the law, kids.

He may have lost if the cops didn't make this huge mistake

That was a close one, Young Thug

Back in 2015

It happened in Sandy Springs, Georgia in July 2015. A group of cops and federal agents raided Young Thug’s home because they believed that he was hiding things that he shouldn’t have.
They found all kinds of things like guns and drugs. He was charged with felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession, and three counts of felony gun possession.

That was a close one, Young Thug

Blacked Out Windows

Those kind of charges could put you away for a while, and Young Thug wasn’t exactly an angel during the time that he was fighting his many charges.
Earlier on the day of the bust, he was arrested for making terroristic threats against a security guard at a local mall. He was arrested at another mall in 2016 for outstanding warrants, stemming from windows that were tinted too dark.

That was a close one, Young Thug

Not Right

To their dismay, the cops and U.S. Marshals who did the searching are the ones who eventually got Young Thug off. YT’s lawyer gave a great argument, and the judge happened to agree.

That was a close one, Young Thug

One Last Charge

Young Thug’s lawyer argued that the raid was done illegally, as authorities didn’t have a proper search warrant. That’s a huge mistake on the cops part.
The District Attorney was forced to throw out all of the charges from over the last few years, but he clung to the hope that he could still get YT on the marijuana charges.

That was a close one, Young Thug

Free Man

Unfortunately for the state of Georgia, those charges were dropped too and Young Thug became a free man at last. Let’s hope that he can stay out of serious trouble for the next few years so that he can release more music. He got very lucky this time.

“Watu walishtukia tu tangazo linaruka hewani, alipoulizwa imekuaje, akawa haeleweki, ndipo wenzake nao wakaamua kila mmoja kufanya kivyake na hapo ndipo kutokuelewana kukatokea,” kilisema chanzo hicho.

Baada ya kupata ubuyu huo, Risasi Mchanganyiko lilimtafuta Mpoki, ambaye kwa sasa ni mtangazaji katika Kituo cha Redio cha EFM, ambapo baada ya kuelezwa kuhusu tuhuma hizo, alihoji;

“Hayo maneno kakuambia nani?

Risasi Mchanganyiko pia lilijaribu kuwafikia wanakikundi wengine ili kupata ukweli wa habari hizo na safari hii, walimtafuta Lucas Lazaro Mhuvile, anayefahamikazai di kama Joti, ambaye baada ya kuulizwa kuhusu kilichotokea  kwenye kundi lao, mahojiano na mwandishi yalikuwa kama ifuatavyo;

Rappers And Their Hollywood Honeys

Hip hop culture may seem like it’s a whole different world, but there are a lot of rappers who like to dabble in other industries when it comes to their love lives. Recently, actress Chloe Grace Moretz was spotted leaving a night club with Chance The Rapper, and a lot of people were surprised to see the two together. It’s actually not the first time that a rapper has gone to Hollywood for their next lover, as many have done the same.

Diddy and Jennifer Lopez

Diddy and Jennifer Lopez were a power couple force to be reckoned with in the early 2000’s, but unfortunately things didn’t work out. Today, the two are still great friends and even business partners.

Chance The Rapper and Chloe Grace Moretz

This week, Chloe and Chance were spotted leaving a night club together, but it’s hard to determine if they just started seeing each other, or if they’ve been keeping things low key for awhile.

The Weeknd/Bella Hadid

The Weekend and Bella are one of the cutest couples out right now, and the two keep their relationship pretty private, except for their PDA.

Azealia Banks/Jesse Bradford

Azealia Banks couldn’t wait to make it known that she was seeing actor Jesse Bradford, who used to be the apple of a lot of teen girls’ eyes back in the 2000’s.

50 Cent and Vivica Fox

50 Cent and Vivica Fox were once very much in love, but they have a long-running beef now that got ugly on social media a couple months back.

French Montana and Sanaa Lathan

Sanaa Lathan confirmed this past year that she was seeing French Montana, but things didn’t seem to last too long between the two.

Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London

Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London are going strong on nearly two years now, and they seem to have a very strong relationship.

Big Sean and Naya Rivera

Big Sean and Naya Rivera seemed like a match made in hip hop Hollywood heaven, and were even engaged, but their relationship ended quickly and explosively.

Drake and Zoe Kravitz

Dizzy always had a crush on Zoe Kravitz, but he finally had a shooting his shot moment, and grabbed her up for a temporary situationship.

Quavo Got Some Crazy Stuff for His Birthday Last Weekend

Happy Birthday Quavo!

Migos has been shredding the rap game for the past year. After a killer 2016, that included the success of “Bad and Boujee” as well as tons of chart-splashing features with other artists, Migos’ Quavo finally found some time to enjoy the fruits of this labor… at his birthday party!
Surrounded by proud family and friends, Quavo humbly dug into a cake, that was so blinded out… I’m not even sure it was edible. What was even crazier was the stuff his fellow Migos members, Offset and Takeoff, gave him as gifts…

Happy Birthday Quavo!

Migos is HUGE

Since “Versace” dropped in 2016, seemingly out of nowhere, everyone has been trying to get a piece of Migos. From Drake to Lil Wayne to Nas – there are few relevant names in hip hop that haven’t tried to flip this stone.

Happy Birthday Quavo!
